Statement:

Inspired by the desert landscape of Central Australia and its transformation after rains come.

The solid grey sky begins to fracture into pieces that slowly ease apart, revealing the blue above. Before the rain the earth looks devasted and lifeless.

After rain, the desert emerges. There is a sense of life, stretching, hatching, birth and rebirth.

The water turns the landscape vibrant green where it collects and the desert bursts with life looking amazing with the flowering of native plants, set against the red and browns of the earth.
